Disclosure – We do not sell your Personal Information to anyone for any purpose, and we retain information about you in our business records for as long as you remain a client, or until it is no longer needed for business, tax, or legal purposes. To safeguard your Personal Information, RemiPBX has implemented encryption and other appropriate security measures for both storage and transmission.
We share your Personal Information only with non-RemiPBX companies that perform services on our behalf, and only as necessary for them to perform those services. Additionally, we do not share Personal Information with non-RemiPBX companies for the marketing of their own products and services without your consent. We may share Personal Information with non-RemiPBX organizations or other third parties for reasons such as emergencies, compliance with court orders, adherence to legal requirements or lawful government, judicial, administrative, or law enforcement requests (e.g., search warrants, subpoenas, court orders, etc.), identity verification to prevent fraud or identity theft, enforcement of property rights, or to collect payment for products and services listed on your RemiPBX billing statements.
Customer Proprietary Network Information. Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI) is information that RemiPBX obtains when providing your telecommunications services to you. CPNI includes details about the telecommunications services you have purchased, how you use those services, and the associated billing information. This may include the specific types of telecommunications services you have purchased and your calling activity. Your telephone number, name and address are not considered CPNI.
We use your CPNI to offer you additional services similar to those you already purchase from RemiPBX. Additionally, we may use your CPNI to introduce you to products, services, packages, discounts, and promotions from RemiPBX and its affiliates which may differ from the services you currently purchase.
RemiPBX has implemented strict policy guidelines to safeguard the privacy of CPNI and protect it from unauthorized access or misuse.
RemiPBX does not sell, trade, or share your CPNI with anyone outside of RemiPBX, or with anyone not authorized to represent us in offering our services or performing functions on our behalf, except as required by law or with your authorization.
To opt-out and restrict access to your CPNI for our marketing purposes, please contact us within 30 days of receiving this notice by emailing us at info@remipbx.com. If we do not receive notification from you within 30 days of this notice that you wish to restrict our use of your CPNI, we will assume that you consent to our use of CPNI for this purpose.
Privacy Controls – You have the ability to review and correct the Personal Information we collect about you. You can also limit certain types of solicitation communications from RemiPBX, including marketing contacts via telephone, email, and text messaging, by notifying us. We will inform you of any changes to this policy and are happy to correct any inaccuracies in your information.
Clients may verify that appropriate corrections have been made.
Cookies – Depending on how you access RemiPBX, we may use cookies or similar technologies to capture log data. For instance, we may use cookies to keep you logged into the RemiPBX portal. Some cookies are linked to your RemiPBX account, including personal information like your email address, while others are not associated with your personal information.
RemiPBX also uses cookies to store information that helps us serve ads relevant to your interests and assists our advertisers in measuring the effectiveness of specific ads. These cookies allow us to tailor ads to your preferences, ensuring you don’t repeatedly see the same ads. Additionally, if you opt out, these cookies can help prevent you from seeing targeted ads altogether. The information collected through these cookies is not personally identifiable, and we do not associate it with your Personal Information.
You may opt out of RemiPBX’s use of data for internet-based advertising. Be advised that even after you opt-out, you may still continue to see ads. However, they will no longer be catered to your interests.
Please be advised opting-out does not remove RemiPBX cookies. The cookies will remain on your computer, but we will no longer use the data associated with them for our services. Please note that if you delete your cookies, you will need to opt-out again to avoid receiving targeted ads in the future. Users can manage cookie preferences at the individual browser level. If you choose to reject cookies, you can still use our site, though some features or areas may have limited functionality.
To opt out of our targeted ads, please email info@remipbx.com.
We work with third-party advertising companies to place advertisements on this website and others, as well as to perform tracking and reporting functions. These third-party companies may place cookies on your computer when you visit our website or other sites, allowing them to display targeted ads. These companies do not collect Personal Information through this process, and we do not share any Personal Information with them. However, this Privacy Statement does not cover the data collection methods or practices used by these third parties. For more information about third-party advertising, you can visit the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI). You can also opt-out of targeted advertising from many third-party companies by visiting NAI’s Consumer Opt-Out page or TRUSTe’s Opt-Out page.
Exclusions – Information you provide to non-RemiPBX companies is not covered by this Policy. For example, when you download applications or make an online purchase from a non-RemiPBX company while using RemiPBX services, the information collected by that company is not governed by this Policy. Additionally, if you use public forums—such as social networking services, Internet bulletin boards, chat rooms, or blogs on RemiPBX or non-RemiPBX websites—you should be aware that any Personal Information you disclose publicly can be read, collected, or used by others. Once you choose to share Personal Information on such platforms, it becomes publicly accessible, and RemiPBX cannot prevent its distribution or use by third parties.
RemiPBX may enter into written product or service agreements with business customers that include specific provisions regarding the confidentiality, security, or handling of information. If the terms of such agreements differ from or conflict with this Policy, the terms of the written agreement will take precedence. In all other cases, the terms of this Policy will apply.
Security – We have implemented electronic and administrative safeguards to protect the information we collect, prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, and ensure appropriate use. While we strive to keep your Personal Information secure, no security measures are completely foolproof, and we cannot guarantee that your Personal Information will never be disclosed in a manner inconsistent with this Policy (for example, due to unauthorized acts by third parties in violation of the law or this Policy). If we determine that RemiPBX has experienced a security breach that presents a reasonably likely risk of identity theft, or as required by law, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you.
Policies – We have established policies and practices to meet the preferences of Customers and potential customers who wish to limit certain types of solicitation communications from RemiPBX, including marketing contacts via telephone, email, and text messaging. You can also request to be removed from our telemarketing lists when you receive a marketing or promotional call. In compliance with state laws and regulations, we honor requests from businesses to be removed from our telemarketing lists where required.
The FTC maintains a National Do Not Call Registry at https://www.donotcall.gov/, and your state may have its own Do Not Call Registry. Adding your number to these registries may also limit our telemarketing calls to that number.
Our practices, as described above, are designed to comply with state and federal legal requirements that limit marketing contacts. However, it’s important to note that these laws and regulations—such as those governing state and federal “Do Not Call” lists—generally allow companies to contact their current, and in some cases former, customers, even if they are listed on “Do Not Call” registries. Similarly, restricting our use of your CPNI will not eliminate all types of marketing communications from RemiPBX.
Email Marketing – RemiPBX makes every effort to detect and prevent junk emails (commonly known as “spam”) from reaching your inbox. If you receive unwanted spam from a RemiPBX email address, please contact us for assistance at info@remipbx.com.
Policy Changes – Client and User information, including Personal Information, may be transferred in the event of a merger, acquisition, sale of company assets, or transition of services to another provider. In the unlikely event of insolvency, bankruptcy, or receivership, Client and User records may also be transferred to another entity as part of such proceedings.
To satisfy legal requirements, we reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy as needed.
If we make a material change to this Policy, we will post a prominent notice on our website and provide you with other appropriate notifications and options regarding the use of your information, at least 30 days prior to the effective date.
We encourage you to check our website from time to time for changes to this Privacy Policy.
We are available to address any questions or concerns you may have regarding our privacy practices and policies. You may e-mail us at info@remipbx.com or write to us at PO Box 375 North Attleboro, MA 02761.
